Description

The Advanced Crate was a skin crate added in Beta Part 1 update that could be purchased in the Skin Store, giving you a 100% chance to obtain a random Rare skin. It costed 1,800. It was later removed an hour after its addition, the reason relating to datastore issues.

Excluding 2009 Slinger, skins in the Advanced Crate are obtainable in the Daily Skin Shop for 8 points.

Trivia

• The Advanced Crate was removed due to issues with datastores, where players do not receive the skins or keep them after leaving the game.
  • The removal was originally temporary, with Oster planning to add more skins to the crate, though 4 years later there are no plans or returning it.
• Opening the Advanced Crate was the only method to obtaining the 2009 Slinger skin, which is not available in the Daily Skin Store.
  • Considering the Advanced Crate was only available for an hour, 2009 Slinger is the rarest non-admin skin in the game, along with Vulcan Cyberblade.
• The Vintage Sniper represents the previous version of the Sniper, with its attacking and idle animations.
  • The skin carries a M1 Garand, which is an American rifle. In reality, M1 Garand is semi-auto, but for some reason it is bolt action in the skin, although, it could be that the gun jams after every shot or it is a modified M1 Garand with a different receiver.
