Description
The Apparition is a flying enemy exclusive to Hard and Expert Modes. It is slow and has 
4,000 HP, but it poses a huge threat to defenses with minor flying defense.
Apparition is replaced by the Mothership on Expert Mode.
Lore
"One of the highest tier beings of Ignitus' congregation. It is the result of harnessed powers of the most supernatural, encased into a suitable being."
Appearance
The Apparition has dark translucent skin. It wears a black shirt and shoulder pads with ivory colored spikes coming out of them. The Apparition also has two transparent horns protruding from the top of its head with a noticeable curvature. Strangely, it does not have legs. It also have a face but it reflects its skin.
Tactics
- Using lots of 4-0 Sharpshooters and 4-2 or 2-4 Snipers can take this down on a decent amount of time.
- At the minimum, five to six 4-0 Sharpshooters with some support coming from a 4-2 Bugler is enough to take down a Apparition.
- Towers that don't have flying detection like Demolitionist and Vulcan are not effective against the Apparition.
- Using the Elite's 'Immolation Overcharge' ability can deal a massive 3,000 damage to this enemy.
Trivia
- As stated in its enemy description, Apparition is theorized to partly or entirely be a supernatural entity that is encased into a false exterior shell.
