Blueflame is a part of the Cold Construct Event. The contents of this page are partly/entirely exclusive to an event. |
Description
The Blueflame is an enemy that appears in Wave 12 of Chapter 4 from Cold Construct 2022 Event. It has 200 health with
50 shield health and it moves at a fast pace. It also has a maximum damage cap of
100. Upon death, it explodes and stuns nearby towers, and turns into a Charred Blueflame.
It can be considered to be a stronger version of the Flamer (now known as Unstable).
Lore
"Against all impossible odds, the constructs have somehow found a way to combine fire and ice into one host. It is plausible that some level of magic was used to achieve this otherwise impossible feat. Nonetheless, Blueflames are still tricky; their low health is deceptive, as on death they will stun any units in their range."
Appearance
The Blueflame is a faceless robotic humanoid that wears dark armor and has a blue and white gradient appearance. It appears to be wearing black armor that is diamond-plated on its neck, along with a blue snowflake in its sternum signifying its vitality.
Tactics
- Using high range and low firerate towers such as Sniper and Surveyor can effectively clear hordes Blueflames without reaching and stunning the nearby towers.
- Use the same strategies and techniques you would use for the regular Flamer, as the Blueflame is merely a stronger replica.
- Be cautious when a horde of Blueflames appear from all doors, keep a lookout for anyone of them leaking by.
Trivia
- The Blueflame may take its inspiration from the word frostfire.
- In general, frostfire is when fire suddenly becomes cold, yet remains hot at the same time despite having two elements opposite of each other.
- Frostfire does not actually exist within the real world, as it is mainly a word used in games to describe the effect.
