Description
The Bound Metallic, as the name states, is an evolved variant of the Metallic. They have slightly higher health and an additional higher defense counter, making them more dangerous than the Metallic as a whole.
Lore
"Souls are hard to produce, with most vessels requiring a pre-created mind. The Bound Metallics are an example of an attempt to create an actual living soul, but the results were still incredibly unstable."
"A soul long lost ago. This husk has been fitted with new armaments to accomplish its sole duty. There is no turning back now."
Appearance
The Bound Metallic has a protective black exoskeleton, in which a lost soul can be seen within the interior and shedding light through the many crevices that are located on its head. Similar to the Metallic, it has many serrated spikes protruding from numerous sections of its body, along with plated bands wrapped around the arms and legs.
Tactics
- The Bound Metallic may seem like a formidable enemy because of its Bullet Resistance. However, similar to the Metallic, it can be effortlessly defeated by using towers with additional effect, such as the X-4 Sharpshooter, or the Sniper who can ignore both the defense and resistance completely.
Trivia
- According to the lore, The enemies have tried to produce an actual living soul, However the results being ended up being very unstable.
- This enemy used to be named as "Metallic M2" before 'Ranked Up' Expert Mode was released.
- The Bound Metallic plays a steamer-like sound effect when it spawns.
