Description
Cash is an in-game currency in Tower Blitz used when a player is involved in a match. Cash is used for placing, upgrading, using abilities and spawning specific units, which are all associated to the towers, however, this currency can run out, resulting in needing to wait either for the next wave for a wave bonus, defeating enemies, or selling unused or misplaced towers.
Acquiring Cash
All players start off with 650 at the start of a match, depending on the type of match you are playing, varies on how much cash you start with. This changes from
800 to
500,000 in specific challenges.
- At the end of every wave, cash is given to all players. The cash is split evenly between all players in the arena, meaning if any player regardless of which team, leaves, players will receive more cash and vice versa. The division solution is: [Cash from finishing a wave] ÷ [Number of players] (Divided by half if the 'Fundless' attribute is activated.)
- When playing solo, you can gain full cash whether any mode you are playing on.
- Market gives cash a certain amount of times depending on the progress of the spawned enemies. The amount given depends on the level of the Markets and how many Markets there are.
- Businessman can also give cash per wave.
- Selling Towers will give back half of the towers' placement price and the total cash spent on upgrades.
- Dealing damage to enemies will grant one cash per every one damage that the enemy takes. When another player deals damage to enemies, you may receive 50% of the damage dealt or nothing at all.
- If it is the last wave, Market will give its last set of cash because the round will eventually end.
- You are unable to earn cash when damaging most enemies with shield health or enemies that have been summoned manually by another enemy.

Trivia
- After the Ode to Autumn update, you are now unable to obtain cash by damaging an enemy's shield health.
- Unlike other Tower Defense games, you receive cash based on 100% damage the towers deal in one shot.
- Please be aware that the max cash you get from an enemy is its health, for example, the Invader's health is 4, so you can only get a maximum of 4 cash after defeating it.
- When you reach Wave 33 in Expert Mode, your wave bonus cash gain will be decreased heavily.
- It is possible to get negative cash in-game.
- To achieve negative cash, you will have to repeatedly try to place a tower until you have enough cash for that tower. There is a chance for negative cash to occur.
