Information

The Cold Construct 2021 Event was the second event introduced into Tower Blitz, following the Terror Blitz 2021 Event. However this would be the last event with custom enemies. The event showcased custom enemies, new skins, a new map, new kill effects, and a tower as well for completing the event overall. The Cold Construct 2021 Event officially released on December 26th, and ended on February 12th, 10:00 PM (CST).

In this event, you were fighting against The Constructs. Once the Rebel's allies now turned against them for an unknown reason. It is known to have three chapters in total. Unlike the Terror Blitz Event, the Cold Construct Event has no gamemode to choose and the difficulty depends on the chapter. To simply get the event tower, players would have to progress from Chapter 1 to Chapter 3 where in the latter would the event tower be rewarded after successfully beating it. It is called the Lightbeamer.

Rewards are apart of the Cold Construct 2021 Event, you could view them by clicking on the event button on the bottom right part of your screen. These rewards can range from skins to kill effects. They are purchasable through the new form of currency introduced into the update, Tickets. There are about 29 rewards obtainable. It would take a total of 4,820 Tickets to obtain all rewards.

Trivia

• A bundle of enemies, namely the Ornaments, were added before the event had officially started due to Beef (Developer of Tower Blitz) adding them into the main game instead of the testing one.
• The Cold Construct 2021 Event was the second event added to the game.
  • The Cold Construct 2021 Event was also the first winter-themed event to be added.
• The Cold Construct 2021 Event is the first event to add new enemies.
  • The Terror Blitz 2021 Event originally had planned this, but the enemies were scrapped due to lack of time.
• The Cold Construct 2021 Event brought the first skin for the Recon Base, Winter Ops.
• The Cold Construct 2021 Event will most likely be the last event that will have custom enemies in Tower Blitz. As stated by one of the developers and the map maker for most of the maps, Beefchoplets, and the main developer, Oster.
  • Part of the reason behind this was due to the amount of stress and screw-ups the events has brought them, and with Oster being the only person behind most of the things.
  • Reruns will still happen each year (including this event), however there won't be anymore new events with custom enemies in the future.
• The Sniper has 50% damage reduction in Chapter 2 and 20% damage reduction in Chapter 3.
• Chapter 4 was supposed to be the last chapter of Cold Construct 2021 Event, however it was cancelled and scrapped due to lack of motivation as stated by Oster.
  • However, it returned in the Cold Construct 2022 Event along with the other chapters.
  • Oster also announces the new tower after beating Chapter 3, called the Lightbeamer.
• In the 15/1/21 update, the Angel kill effect was removed as it's an retextured version of the kill effect Spirit.
• There is a bug where a placeholder for the rewards would appear if you collect the Avarian Paladin skin and rejoining the game.
  • The placeholder in question would be Pumpkin Sniper skin, or otherwise known as the Jack-o-Lantern skin that was obtainable during the Terror Blitz 2021 Event.
• Hours prior to the Reconciliation update, the Cold Construct 2021 event was extended by 2 hours to give more time for players.
• Some enemies are inspired by a Fanmade TB event, according to a discord message from Oster.
