Description
The Combustor is the final boss of Chapter 2 in the Cold Construct 2022 Event, as well as a major boss in Arctic Forntier. boasting 
50,000 health and 
40,000 shield health. It also has four abilities that negatively affect your towers, along with a maximum damage capacity.
Lore
"The Combustor is a class of extremely powerful Constructs with its with a signature flamethrower. Combustors are often are used to break through fortresses and melt holes into the wall, allowing for other weaker Constructs to attack the establishment. It is crucial that Combustors are deactivated first."
Appearance
The Combustor is presumably a crude mechanical replicate of Santa Claus. It has primarily festive clothing along with a white scarf. Moderately sharpened green claws can be seen attached to one hand, these are used with its Mechanical Scratch ability. On the other hand, a mechanical flamethrower can be seen attached, although this can discharge cryogenic gas instead of flames.
Tactics
- Contrary to other major bosses, Electricizers are not recommended due to the Combustor's maximum damage capacity.
- Elite with X-2, specifically top path, can shred Combustor's shield.
- Do keep in mind that X-4 Elite's Immolator Overcharge should not be used due to Combustor's maximum damage of 200.
- 4-X Recon Bases are crucial to the defeat of this boss, disputing the heavy damage required to take out this boss.
- If Combuster unfortunately triggers Emergency Backup ability, Electricizers will no longer be needed. However, fast-firing towers such as Vulcan and Elite can still be used and Recon Bases are useful as well, since units ignore Combuster's maximum damage.
Trivia
- A visual bug can occur where the flamethrower or freezethrower effect will linger, however this is purely visual.
- The Combustor's abilities can be stacked, a prime example being a tower having decreased range and increased cooldown at the same time.
- The Combustor is the only final boss in this event to be Christmas themed.
- The Combustor makes a distorted robotic sound when it dies, its body blackening out similar to other robotic bosses.
