Description

The Courier is a flying variation of the Carrier Tank which appears within Chapter 3 of the Cold Construct 2021 Event. Since it is a variation of the Carrier Tank, this implies that it is a carrier-type enemy, in which it is.

Lore

"These are the dropships of Avaria, dispatching intelligent combat units. These are often supported by Hover Tanks, ensuring that they are not damaged. Their effectiveness proves a threat on alternate planets."

Appearance

The Courier at first glance does not seem like a tank, though it is important to note that this device does not actually serve the purpose of a tank, rather a dropship to deploy certain units on the battlefield. It appears to float through mechanisms located underneath its main structure. The ends appear to extend similarly to a ramp, whilst the central area is curvaceous. A multitude of neon materials can be seen on the external surface of the Courier, further hinting its sophisticated design.

Tactics

• Use Snipers and Elites, preferably buffed by a Bugler because the Elites do x2 damage to shields and the Sniper, a large 133 damage or 16 damage but with a fast firerate to the enemy.
  • 3-X Mechanics can also be used, as long as you don't upgrade it to 4-X.
• Once the Courier dies, it will summon more enemies. It is recommended to be vigilant of this as they might go away from the main defense.
• A group of X-3/X-4 Lightbeamers can easily destroy the Courier's spawned enemies.
