Description
The Crossbower is the cheapest tower to buy, costing 200. It has medium range, a low cost and low damage. Its arrows are capable of piercing and/or homing at multiple enemies. Path 1 allows its arrows to home in enemies that are close while having flying detection and Path 2 applies effects and debuffs to enemies.

Lore
"The luxuries of UEC control aren't available to many regions of the planet—in fact, most are too remote. Individuals who reside in these locations have to strap up and make do with what they have. This Crossbower is one such example, a militiaman - not a clone and especially not a member of the UEC. Guns are expensive, ammo is expensive, and repairing jams is especially expensive - considering the collapse of the global supply chain, it's only fair that these folk take on the use of effectively a stronger bow, both for food, game, and war. These Crossbowers get by, but they surely aren't the powerhouses of troops that the UEC own and utilize."

Tactics
- Crossbower serves as a cheap crowd control tower for beginners, easily replacing the Slinger in terms of viability due to its homing arrows and status effects.
- Path 1 focuses on crowd control with its homing arrows, while Path 2 focuses on applying stuns and debuffs for enemies.
- Path 1 Crossbower is extremely effective at clearing hordes of weak enemies thanks to its homing arrows, as well as having flying detection.
- 3-X Crossbower is one of the best options for early game defense due to its homing arrows easily being able to hit multiple enemies, with an effective range that could even be larger than a 3-2 Demolitionist.
- As the arrows simply home to the closest enemy, Crossbower placement is not an issue.
- While Path 1 Crossbower does not gain any defense piercing, multiple 3-X Crossbowers can prove to be a strong defense even against heavy targets such as the Gargantuan, and all other weak enemies that follow.
- A single Path 1 Crossbower with X-2 is sufficient to apply the effect as the poison damage does not stack.
- Path 2 Crossbower helps at applying multiple debuffs to the enemies to support towers, such as stuns and poison.
- Do note that poison and flame damage does not stack on an enemy that is already being affected by it, so only place up to 3 Crossbowers with Path 2 upgrades to ensure near-full uptime with status effects, as placing more than that will not increase your damage output.
- As its arrows fire in a straight line, it is recommended to place Crossbower on a straight path and set its targeting to either "First" or "Last", depending on the enemy direction, to take advantage of its pierce.
- Generally, it is recommended to spam Path 1 Crossbowers due its high damage and crowd control capabilities, while having a few Path 2 Crossbowers to support them.
- Path 1 Crossbower is extremely effective at clearing hordes of weak enemies thanks to its homing arrows, as well as having flying detection.
Trivia
- There was a much earlier version of Crossbower during development back in 2020. It was shown in one of the images sent by one of the admins in the Discord server, Jack91.
- The Crossbower uses the SFX from the half-life 2 crossbow when firing.
- The unreleased Elvin Crossbower skin was originally meant to release as a code for Tower Blitz reaching 100M visits in 2023, however this had been forgotten by the developers.
- In the Eternal Update, Hunter Crossbower was added and served as a replacement for the Elvin Crossbower skin, as the developers could not get the latter to work,
