Description
The Cyrogenic Energy is a late-game energy-type enemy which debuts in Chapter 4 of the Cold Construct 2022 Event. It's a direct counterpart to the Ardent, which has higher statistics, including higher total health, defense, and an additional blast resistance.
Appearance
In many ways, the Cyrogenic Energy is mostly described as an Ardent, with a different color scheme, which is blue, and tint of the color spread throughout its body. Other than that, it's exactly like the energy-type enemies.
Lore
"Seems the Constructs found a way to make the already dangerous Ardent even stronger. Their extreme speed and bullet-soaking health makes them a formidable foe, it is recommend[sic] to use whatever you can to slow them down.
Tactics
- Due to its extreme speed, it is safer to use units to prevent it from leaking, specifically the collision damage.
- Towers like the Electricizer can wipe out most of its health in one hit, making it much easier to kill for other towers.
- Keep in mind that Electricizer's attacks have a long cooldown, and they will mainly target only one enemy at a time.
- In that case, using 2 2-4 Electricizers can help alot due to their chaining effect.
