Description
The Demolitionist is a crowd control tower viable at any part of the game, at any difficulty, easily being able to kill weak groups of enemies due to its explosive attacks, while also being able to kill high-defense enemies like the Cosmil, due to its defense piercing. It can also be used for killing tanky groups of enemies mid-late game once maxed on either path.
Path 1 Demolitionist heavily increases main damage, range and blast radius, allowing it to kill even hordes of tanky enemies with ease, if decently spammed.
Path 2 Demolitionist focus more on cooldown decrease, but doesn't increase damage as much, or even increases its range and blast radius. But it has an airstrike ability, which if used right, can demolish some mid-game waves.

Lore
"Every platoon needs their specialist. Who would better fill this position than a Demolitionist? With various armaments that can crucially eliminate enemy vehicles and armaments, this soldier finds heavy use within the UEC. Cloned for maximum efficiency and performance, they are one of the few examples of true firepower - and often fill a crucial role in communications and intelligence on the field, commanding various airstrikes and other aerial platforms."

Tactics
- Demolitionist's unique role is in dealing explosive damage to enemies; while it is not that good against single targets, it makes up for its large explosion radius and defense pierce for cheap upgrade prices.
- This makes it useful for Expert Mode when there are swarms of enemies with defense, such as several Truck M2s and Cosmils.
- It is also very effective against enemies that can summon such as the MK-13 Device and Summoner.
- 0-3 Demolitionist is the most cost efficient upgrade. It is highly recommended to upgrade it this way if you intend to use it for early game, as you are able to save
780 when compared to 3-2, with Demolitionist being able to deal more DPS at a faster interval, allowing it to easily deal with Trucks and the soldiers it spawns.
- Demolitionist can indirectly hit flying enemies with its explosions if there is a ground enemy nearby. It is recommended to skip on waves before flying enemies come to be able to take advantage of this. Examples can be Wave 8 of Hard Mode, and Wave 11 of Expert Mode.
- The Airstrike ability takes 6 seconds before it can land. Be sure to time it correctly to hit enemies.
- Although using the 4th tier ability costs
800, dealing atleast 800 damage to enemy health allows you to regain your spent money back.
- But in reality 1500 airstrike damage is just as worth as 12 4-2 Demolitionist explosions. So getting 2-4 might not be worth it, as you are able to spend less money with Path 1 spam in the long term.
- Its recommended to use X-3 airstrike in mid-game instead of X-4. It deals more than half of the damage of X-4 Airstrike and costs almost three times less. The 800 damage threshold is perfect to deal with mid-game enemies.
- You should upgrade X-3 to X-4 after wave 40 in Expert Mode just to get the higher airstrike damage.
- In late-game you should have between 1 to 4 2-4 Demolitionists to deal massive damage with airstrikes, and rest 4-2 for consistency.
- Although using the 4th tier ability costs
- If you have 5-X Recon Base, bottom path Demolitionist is the best path to use, as Top Path spam is just outclassed by Recon Base 5-X upgrade, but bottom path still has the advantage for being best for mid-game, not requiring to be spammed, and you can select where the airstrike will land, unlike the units which will always attack "first".
Trivia
- The Demolitionist's 4-X upgrade resembles a Davy Crockett tactical recoiless nuclear device.
- The Demolitionist's firing sounds (except 4-X) are the same ones used as the Demoman from Team Fortress 2.
- In-game X-3, and X-4 upgrade titles had a misspelling. Instead of (X-3) Master Sergeant, and (X-4) Commander Chief Master Sergeant. The word "sergeant" is misspelled as "seargant".
- The Classic skin is the 3rd to be obtained from a code.
- The first two being Humanblade and Green Future.
