Description
The Elite Teleporter is a more advanced version of the Teleporter. It has a quite a rapid speed and exceeds the Sprinter M5, another enemy that appears in Expert Mode, in terms of speed.
Lore
"Teleportation technology has yet to be mastered. However, the enemy appears to already have completed it, this time, creating stronger units that will teleport in other units in battle."
Appearance
The Elite Teleporter has a teleportation device which is attached to its back, related to its previous version, the Teleporter. Unlike its previous version however, it does not possess any facial features and is only a blank slate of blue. On the center of its clothing is a diamond shape, alike to the color of its skin.
Tactics
- Do not underestimate the Elite Teleporter as they also usually spawn with other enemies, such as Sprinter M5 and Shielder.
- Use high range towers like Electricizer or Sniper to deal with this.
- If an Elite Teleporter is on low health and near your base, do not kill it as it can spawn in a far stronger enemy such as the Shielder or Cosmil.
- Freezer can freeze and stall Elite Teleporters.
Trivia
- Elite Teleporter, along with the Sentinel, are one of the few enemies that can be frozen by the Freezer for more than two seconds; 10 seconds of freezing duration specifically.
