Enemies
Some enemies have advantages that allow them to either fight back by stunning your towers, having the flying mechanic, possessing shield health, having the maximum damage aspect, or by having a set amount of defense, making it harder to counter that specific enemy.
As the game progresses further for each wave during the round, stronger and more enemies with varying immunities will appear.
If the wave number turns red, it indicates that a boss will appear (exceptions are Wave 49 of Expert and pre-last wave of Chapter 2). These waves are not possible to skip through normal means.
Bosses are high-priority enemies that possess high amount of health, and a large variety of advantages. They might be flying, possess shield health, or also possess a certain amount of defense. They have a skillset which can stun towers in various ways, give bonus buffs to themselves like gaining shield health, increasing their defense, gaining maximum damage, summoning enemies or heal their health back to a fixed amount.
Most boss waves remove the wave timer, meaning you need to defeat all the enemies in that wave to progress through. Most bosses appear at the last wave, so it is expected for players to already have a good defense to fight the bosses back.
