Captain "As if that wasn't enough, they can summon even more units! Quickly kill the alive ones to dispatch these magicians!" - Captain, Wave 28 on Hard Mode, Ranked Up |
Description[]
The Faded Summoner is the 'Ranked Up' variant of the Summoner, meaning that it can be seen in Hard Mode. It has about 700 more health than the Summoner, making it have
1,500 in total. It has the ability to generate clusters of Faded instances in which they replace the Gems that the normal Summoner spawns in.
Lore[]
"Their color faded away because they were forgotten at the bottom of the enemy list for several months."
Appearance[]
Faded Summoner has an appearance closely related to the ordinary Summoner, although its color scheme is fit to be more of a 'colorless' look, or as the name states, faded. This color scheme mentioned primarily consists of white and black with some additions of dark grey. One distinguishable feature is that its head is transparent in nature, and the horns sprouting from its head are recolored a form of dark blue. The crystal embedded within its chest has also been changed into a glowing white instead of a yellow color. This glowing feature can also be identified on its scythe, which it uses to summon in Faded.
Tactics[]
- Use high-DPS towers such as Vulcan and Electricizer to deal with Faded Summoners.
- Beware of it's summons, hordes of Faded can easily overwhelm your defenses if you aren't prepared.
- Crowd-control towers such as Demolitionist can help defeat them.
- Bugler can help your towers by boosting their firerate, especially when using Snare Drums ability.
