Lore
"The Hellspeed unit does not have any correlation to H E double hockey sticks. It instead seem to have harnessed the power of flames... somehow."
Appearance
The Hellspeed now has black charred skin with a flame-like effect emitted from its left eye. It wears black armor, which consists of a collar, pauldrons and armbands. Its torso contain 2 white diamonds, while its armbands contain 4 orange diamonds. It also wears black boots. The signature wings emerge from its back.
The Hellspeed has bright, molten, and orange skin. It is heavily encompassed in armor with dark orange gem symbols that are dispersed across it. They also have a flaming effect coming from their left eye. It is basically a magmatic version of the Lightspeed.
Tactics
- Use the same tactics to defeat Lightspeed, as Hellspeed is just a slightly upgraded version of Lightspeed.
- Long range towers like a level 4-X Sniper or an Electricizer can easily kill these.
- Using high DPS towers like Elite and Vulcan can also clear out these enemies.
- Beware of Elite's overheat, and Vulcan's spinup time and small range.
- Players can also place 4-0 Sharpshooters with 4-X / X-4 Buglers to clean a horde of these.
Trivia
- The Hellspeed has weaker and stronger variants, the Lightspeed (Weaker), the Vengeful Speed (Stronger), the Angelspeed (Even Stronger), and the Vengeful Speed X (Strongest).
- The Hellspeed's pauldrons are the Right and Left Pauldron of the Void.
- Despite being a "stronger" version of the Lightspeed, the Hellspeed moves slower than it.
- The "H E double hockey sticks" stated in its lore description is a reference to the word "HELL".
- This is because a capital L looks similar to a hockey stick.
- It is kind of unnecessary due to Hellflame Reactor, Hellrisen and even this enemy itself have the word "hell" in them.
- This is because a capital L looks similar to a hockey stick.
