Information

Holy City is a map created exclusively for the Cold Construct 2021/2022 Event. It is known to be Chapter 3 of the event, and also the final chapter in 2021 due to the cancellation of the Chapter 4. All enemies included in this chapter are entirely unique. As the developers said, this chapter is hard and needs lots of communication. The wave structure begins with the first enemy being the Grail and ends with the final boss being the Arbiter. Holy City has four lanes instead of the usual one.

In 2021, Upon triumphing Holy City you will be rewarded with the Lightbeamer, an exclusive event tower. This is not the case in 2022, but unlocks Final Fortification instead.

It takes approximately ~1 minute and 40 seconds for a Grail to walk from the entrance to the exit.

Appearance

The Holy City takes place in the floating city on the sky where multiple skyscrapers can be seen around the map, a glowing yellow tree can also be seen on the map. Bridges can be also seen, most of them have two lanes. The bottom of the map is completely covered with clouds, though it may be possible Holy City takes place on an gas planet.

Tactics

• Sharpshooters is a perfect choice for early game defense, as the incendiary grenades can inflict extra fire damage to enemies, and also an explosion that can kill enemies in radius. Vulcan is also good since it got decent dps and cheap prices.
• Spamming Surveyors is also an option as it has decent dps and anti-air at 0-0. And it can also deal heavy damage or buff Electricizer at late game.
• Market, Slinger and Surveyor would be a extremely great distraction for Hover Tanks.
• Spamming 0-4 Mechanic at the first junction can handle most of the weak mobs easily.
• A large spam of 3-0 Mechanic, can shred most if not all flying enemies as well as 2-4 Snipers, and can also lag the game, making the game easier.
• Since most of the mobs in this map has shields, a bunch of 4-2 Elites can shred the shield health easily. But beware that some mobs have resistant against Elites.
• By rotating high DPS towers such as Vulcan or Sniper, you can make sure the Arbiter is defeated if it gets out of range of your primary defenses.
• Electricizer's range covers almost of the map, place it at the middle where the glowing entrance is located. It's also very handy when facing Ardent.
• It is advised you shouldn't get 4-X Electricizer and X-4 Lightbeamer, as most enemies have maximum damage below 600, effectively reducing cost efficiency.
• 1 person can save for Bliss of Finality, while the others defend around the building on the middle of the track using dps towers.
• If necessary, save some 0-4 Elites to deal with The Archangel and Councilmans.

Trivia

• Holy City is the last Cold Construct 2021 Event map.
  • Final Fortification was supposed to be the last event map but was cancelled.
    • However, Final Fortification returns in Cold Construct 2022.
• The map takes place on a planet called Avaria, which was the homeworld of the the Archangels.
  • The Constructs have taken over the Holy City after the Archangel species went extinct.
• This is currently the largest map in Tower Blitz.
• Sometimes, Mechanic's Turret can be placed really far down on the map or even on the paths.
• This is the only returning map in Cold Construct Event 2022 that no wave changes have been made.
• There is at least 8 of bobo's on top of the middle tower dancing around a little bobo plushie.
• This is the only map in Cold Construct Event that is not winter themed, and no enemies from previous chapters appear.
