Description
The Lightspeed is a large and fast late-game enemy. It has similar speed to the Bolt, but is slower than the Lava. It has more health than the Reactor, another late-game enemy that appears in one of the same modes as Lightspeed.
Lightspeed appears on both Hard Mode and Expert Mode. It is replaced by the Bolt in Normal Mode and Angelspeed later on during Expert Mode.
Lore
"The name is obviously a hyperbole. Nothing with mass can ever reach the speed of light. It does have remarkable speed for its size, though. It's wings appear to serve some unknown purpose"
Appearance
The Lightspeed wears jet black armor, with gleaming azure gemstones on its wristbands and other areas of the armor. It is also seen having a pair of sky blue wings on its back for which they serve an unknown purpose, as stated in its enemy description. Near the very tip of the bottom of its pants, there are boots that are visible that aid it in running across the rough path.
Tactics
- Use high DPS Units to defeat Lightspeed.
- Long-range towers such as Electricizer and Sniper will work the best.
- If a group of these are protected by Apparition, focus on Lightspeeds primarily.
- As Lightspeeds are quicker, they are vulnerable to high damage and fast firerate towers as they are in the frontlines.
