Description
The MK11-Device is a summoner-type enemy that is built by an Engineer or summoned by Boltmaster. It will summon 2 to 3 Elite Soldiers every 6.5 seconds.
The MK11-Device is replaced by the MK13-Device in 'Ranked Up' Expert Mode.
Lore
"Somehow, they managed to succeed in small-scale teleportation. Attempts were done and stolen and reverse-engineered, but nothing made sense."
Appearance
The MK11-Device is a mechanical device that teleports multiple Elite Soldiers to it. It's made out of a black metal material and has long prongs that rapidly spin, leaving behind a neon plasmatic blue trail.
Tactics
- For the most part, you should use the same tactics as the one used to beat the Engineer, however the Elite Soldiers may cause an issue if left persistent for too long.
- The Elite Soldiers that it spawns can be a distraction for the Electricizers, you can change the Electricizer's targeting to 'Strong' and kill the Engineer first then the MK11-Device.
- Multiple 4-2 Demolitionists can beat both MK11-Device and the Elite Soldiers easily.
- It's recommended to use X-3 Bugler's Unit Commander ability to lock onto the MK11-Device, removing any issues with the Elite Soldiers.
Trivia
- This is one of the only enemies that is summoned by a summoner that has the ability to summon enemies, albeit one pack at a time only. The other enemies able to do this are the MK13-Device and the Portal.
- The MK11-Device uses the same sound effect as Team Fortress 2 Teleporter.
