Description
The Metal Construct is a bulky enemy that makes its debut during the Cold Construct 2021 Event within both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. It has extremely enhanced statistics compared to enemies that have come before it. These statistics include 200 health,
100 shield health, and a devastating maximum damage capacity of 10.
Lore
"Metal Constructs don't seem to resemble anything Winter nor Christmas related.. The only thing close is their shade of red. Perhaps these are just a general class of units."
Appearance
The Metal Construct, as the name states, is a robotic entity that is primarily composed of metallic materials which are maroon in coloration. Unlike other enemies that have succumbed before its debut, it is not festival in appearance as proven through its enemy description. Heavy diamond-plating can be seen wrapping around certain sections of the body, such as the chest and legs. The boots are also encased within this material. Two rods can be seen protruding from its back-area.
Tactics
- Although this would presumably require high-DPS towers, this is not the case. This is because the Metal Construct has a maximum damage capacity of 10, meaning that Electricizers should not be your primary counter to this enemy.
- Sharpshooters may be viable due to their moderate DPS and cheaper cost.
- Vulcan, Lightbeamer, and Elite are also reliable due to their extremely low firerate, meaning that it can deal damage faster.
- Any towers with decent DPS and low damage should be able to decimate this enemy.
Trivia
- The Metal Construct is the first enemy to appear in the Cold Construct 2021 Event to not have a Christmas-Themed appearance.
- The Metal Construct has the fourth lowest damage capacity, only being overshadowed by the Avarian Construct, the Dense Light, and the Bobo Tower.
- The Metal Construct has a counterpart, the Avarian Construct. This enemy has a maximum damage capacity of 14 instead of 10.
- The Metal Construct is possibly based off of the Robot Toy enemy from Another Tower Battles Fan Wiki.
