Description
The Metallic is an early-game enemy that serves as the first boss of Expert Mode. Its statistics include 
125 health, a defense of 
2 with a below average speed.
Metallic is replaced by Basilisk on Normal Mode, Chained on Hard Mode and the Bound Metallic on 'Ranked Up' Expert Mode.
Appearance
The Metallic has black reflective skin and armor. It has two diamond-plated armbands along with a leg-band on its right leg. Metallic's shoulder-pads are heavily covered with serrated metallic spikes that varies from different sizes.
The former appearance of the Metallic has no visual difference from its current appearance, apart from a sad face and 1 ring around its right arm.
Lore
"The name is a misnomer, Metallics aren't actually made of metal. However, they are a freak of nature genetically - the spikes on their torso don't seem to be intentional. Perhaps the XCF has been experimenting on humans for their soldiers."
"Metallic individuals are created from any rebels to the army. When caught, their soul will be stripped and put into a heavily armored individual, with one key mission; kill"
Tactics
- Early game towers with high DPS like 3-0 Sharpshooter make quick work of this enemy.
- Multiples 1-0 Snipers can take this down for cheap.
- Low tier Businessmen will heavily struggle against this because of their -100% defense pierce. But you can still beat Metallic with it if you spam X-1.
Trivia
- The Metallic was the first enemy and the only enemy to have defense prior to the Blissful Revelations update.
- If you position your camera near the Metallic, you can see a faint red glow, it is unknown why it glows as it does.
- There is a joke variant of Metallic, which is the Metallio.
- Before The Eternal Update the Metallic used to have Bullet Resistance. The old Captain dialogue proves that.
