Description
The Mothership is a middle to late-game support and flying vehicular enemy encountered on Expert Mode, spawning on Wave 31 on Expert Mode and Wave 28 on Hard Mode, Ranked Up. It has high health but a slow speed, making it a punishing enemy to those who haven't focused on flying defense. It spawns after 10 UFOs (Expert Mode) that shield it, making it more likely to slip past towers due to them shielding the Mothership. It also heals enemies similar to the ability of the Field Medic, but it heals much more health, more enemies, and heals faster. Mothership even has the capabilities to overheal past max health.
Mothership is replaced by the Apparition on Hard Mode and the Alien Legionship in 'Ranked Up' Expert Mode.

"The generator and repair device used for UFOs. Nobody knows why the Motherships resemble classic UFOs so much. Perhaps these searched the world in the past?"
Appearance
The Mothership looks similar to the UFO, it's likely their mothership. The Mothership is a black flying disk with neon purple lines around it and a bulge on the top as a window. It floats up and down while it moves. Multiple glowing purple spikes come out from it. When there are enemies near it, it will heal them with a glowing purple laser.
Tactics
- Use X-3 Bugler's Unit Command to target and quickly take down Mothership before it can heal its allies.
- Any high DPS towers with flying detection such as X-3/X-3 Lightbeamer and Sniper is enough to destroy the Mothership.
Trivia
- The Mothership is the bigger and more heavily upgraded version of the UFO.
- The Mothership has the fourth highest health for a flying enemy, only being beaten by The Archangel, Alien Legionship, and the Kugelblitz Overseer with
25,000. This is excluding Enemy Randomizer enemies such as the Kugelblitz Ultimate. - The Mothership is one of the few flying enemies that can heal nearby enemies.
