Ability 1	Teleportation - Portal spawns either an Ardent, Avarian Construct, Officer, Hover Tank, or Dark Priest from itself. It also can sometimes spawn 2 enemies at once.
Ability 2	Energy Consumption - Portal gradually loses shield health over time.

Description

The Portal is a summoner-type enemy. It made its debut within Chapter 3 of the Cold Construct 2021 Event. Whilst its shield health may seem menacing at first, it does drain itself naturally, eventually leaving solely normal health.

"A portal to where exactly? A new galaxy? A new dimension? Who knows... but one thing for certain is that those things on the other side want us dead."

Appearance

The appearance of the Portal is rather simple, a singular neon circle with a translucent effect surrounding it or an electrical circuit.

Tactics

• Use 4-2 Elites and/or Plasmator to get rid of Portal's shield health as they do 3x damage to shields.
• As it's shield health gets drained naturally, a Slinger can take the Portal out, though it's not recommended to bring a Slinger at all for this chapter due to its obsolete purpose. (Slinger can be also use as bait for Hover Tank and Arbiter)
• Be aware that shield health granted by the Officer cannot be drained naturally and must be dealt with.
• You must take down the Portal quickly; spawned enemies can stun attacking towers or act as a meat shield for enemies behind it.

Trivia

• This enemy is tied up with Bobo, Bobodance, Light Arrow, and the Bobo Tower with the lowest health enemy, with those having 1 health.
  • Although this only counts for normal health, as its starting shield health exceeds these enemies by a large margin.
• The Portal is the first enemy to drain its health naturally, although limited to shield health.
• Unlike any other special summoner-type enemies like the MK13-Device and MK11-Device, this enemy doesn't move slowly when stunned by X-3 or X-4 Electricizer.
