Description
The Priest is a flying enemy in which appears in Chapter 3 of the Cold Construct 2021 Event. It is the select counterpart of the Dark Priest, which appears in the same mode during a later wave. It is also a summoner-type enemy that summons an Angel Construct randomly.
Lore
"Priests are the attempt to unify the Constructs together as one, despite the increasing flaws that occur in the society. These function similarly to the Crusaders, holding something to an extreme level despite not knowing of it's existence."
Appearance
The Priest, alike to many divine entities, bears a striking resemblance to The Archangel. It can be seen wearing regular priest's clothing and other cerulean-colored clothing. An ominous book can be seen within the grasp of its hand, seemingly being read by the Priest as it flies across the battlefield. Additionally, many crystalline constructs can be seen looming over its head, similarly to the Pure Champion, to a certain degree.
Tactics
- Use multiple 4-2 Snipers or Elites to kill Priests.
- These should be upgraded by a Bugler, preferably 4-X.
- Placing 3-X Mechanics can do a lot of damage to the Priest while having a cheaper cost.
- 4-X Demolitionists cannot detect flying enemies, but can hit them with splash damage. Using them can chip away some health of the Priest.
- The Missile Trucks spawned from the Recon Base can kill both the Priest and the Angel Constructs it spawn.
Trivia
- The Priest made a cameo appearance within a certain section of The Lobby. Until the 12/17/2022 update.
- The Priest is one of the only flying summoner-type enemies, alongside the Kugelblitz Overseer.
