Description
The Soldier is an enemy that appears in Expert Mode. It is the first enemy that has a defense counter in Expert Mode as well. It walks at a below average speed and has a decent amount of health for the time it appears. The Soldier can be spawned by the Truck M2.
Lore
"Not to be confused with an army soldier. This is considered to be spored individuals who partook in the war.

Appearance
The Soldier is a frowning enemy with green skin, a grey shirt, a green jacket, blue pants and black boots. It also wears kneepads, a black backpack and a green beret.
Like the other green-skinned enemies, Cuffed, Armored, the Soldier has shiny green skin with dark green standardized soldier clothing, at least standard enough for this battle. It wears a beret which faces toward the left (from the Soldiers perspective). Furthermore, it wears black boots and kneepads.
Unlike the new version of the soldier, the old one doesn't have a black shirt inside the coat, it also has a brighter color scheme.
Tactics
- You shouldn't treat the Soldier as a Worker, since its
1 defense can tank your towers without defense piercing (Businessman, Sharpshooter). - The Sniper is great against this, it can severely weaken it because of its high damage and its defense piercing. Though it may be overwhelmed if hordes of Soldiers appear due to its slower firerate at beginning levels.
- A 2-2 Demolitionist can kill hordes of these.
- A 1-3 Sharpshooter can also be used.
- If you have enough cash, you can afford a 3-2 Demolitionist to counter a horde of Soldiers.
Trivia
- Before the Blissful Revelations update the Soldier and the Worker had the same stats, but different models.
- The old version of the Soldier can be seen sitting in Truck M2.
- This is the first enemy encountered with defense in Expert Mode.
