Update Log


This page is currently going through an overhaul due to the messy source code. We suggest not updating this page in the meantime.

This page lists out all updates in Tower Blitz.
As of 2025, there were a total of 7 major updates, split into multiple updates: Blissful Revelations, Terror Blitz, Ode To Autumn, Cold Construct War, Special Forces, Cold Construct War: Final Chapter and The Eternal Update.

The current update is the Eternal Update, the last major update for Tower Blitz. The game will still get minor updates and bugfixes in the future however.

Return of Surveyor ॥ May 12th, 2023 (2.4.16.4)


  • The return of the coveted Surveyor tower is here!
    • Get it by winning ch4
  • CH4 is back!
    • We have removed the freeze mechanic, but there are other surprises
    • Just an extra note, We recommend setting towers placed in the back of the map to closest targeting setting
    • Many lag fixes
  • RECON BASE REBALANCE
    • Units die when an enemy has a lower max damage than the unit HP.
    • Reverted after major criticisms with this change.
  • Avarian surveyor will come out tomorrow with the removal of avarian knight Lightbeamer
  • If you have any major bugs, go ahead and tag an admin and they'll forward it to me


HOLY CITY ॥ May 7th, 2023 (2.4.16.3)


  • The divine land of the holy city has returned with many changes. We had to rebalance the waves and enemies to work with the tower rebalances that have happened.
    • Rest assured, we've made sure its possible.
  • The coveted angel kill effect is BACK! It will only be available until may 20!
  • Fixed the stupid Bugler's drums ring
  • Added built in evolution modifier to some enemies in CH3
  • Re-added Shock Doctrine, and many other themes!
  • Music on ch2 is fixed!

  • Raised the ticket cap to 2500
  • Added 2 more options for buying tickets


Chapter 2 is Back! ॥ May 6th, 2023 (2.4.16.2)


  • We rebalanced chapter 2 into a 16 wave structure, and because of that it should be more enjoyable
  • Last time this event returned, there was a secret contract that no one figured out, so lets see if you can figure out what it is on the chapter 2 map!
  • Some enemies have received stats changes


Return of Cold Construct 2022, Permanently! ॥ May 5th, 2023 (2.4.16.1)


  • Surveyor is permanently obtainable via chapter 4!
  • Added 2021 skins to battlepass (Note: If you already own a skin within a tier, you can just claim the tier and it won't take any points away)
  • Added back the night raider skins for obtainment
  • The event tab is now called "Season" and it is located above loadout!

  • Fixed the tiny icons in the tower UI
  • Fixed many performance issues
  • Night raider skins will get new icons in the BP later this week!

  • Attempt has been made to fix Surveyor soft-locking games. Should be good now.
  • Changed evolution back to +20% instead of its nerfed form above. The reason is because the thing making it impossible before was indirectly fixed, so the nerf was unnecessary.


January 28th, 2023 (2.4.7)


  • Evolution modifier nerfed.
    • Old math (for the nerds): 1 + (0.2 * (Currentwave - WaveDebut))
    • New math: 1 + (0.15 * (CurrentWave - WaveDebut))
    • This new math should make this modifier possible again. I also made a change that should stop enemies from somehow getting infinite-length decimal HPs (which made them unkillable). This one should be working across all main modes. Unsure of event.


January 4th, 2023 (2.4.6)


  • Optimized Chapter 4
  • Nerfed The Nexus's sheield by 15,000.
  • Capped freeze rate on towers at 25 seconds instead of 11 seconds.
  • Ice Lord now has reduced speed, 28,000 > 20,000.
  • Practice modifier is hopefully fixed.
  • Changed Surveyor stats:
    • X-3 now costs Cash 8,500.
    • Bomber drone now does 45 damage per bomb with increased explosive radius.
    • 3-X cost changed from Cash 5,000 to Cash 6,500 due to the damage buff being too good for 5k.

FINAL FORTIFICATION

  • After a long wait and a few postponements, the update is finally here!
  • SURVEYOR! The new event tower has arrived! If you win on chapter 4 of the event, you will be awarded surveyor! A powerful air attack tower, this tower is both a DPS and support (depending on the path)
  • INTERACTIVE WEATHER! We have devised a system where the weather on a map can interact with your towers. You will see this on chapter 4.
  • BUFFED FIRETEAM SOLEMN! Self explanitory - minigun 0.1 firerate 3 damage - smg 0.15 firerate 2 damage (flying detection) - rocket launcher 1 firerate 20 damage (80% piercing) - sniper .3 firerate 20 damage (100% piercing) (flying detection)

  • Fixed contracts not being awarded when you have the badge.

  • Mechanic
    • Releasing this update, the Mechanic focuses on placing various buildings in it’s small radius.
    • Path 1 grants the Mechanic the ability to place turrets, and expands on this ability. Max upgrade allows for 4 variants of Turrets to be placed.
    • Path 2 focuses on the support aspect of the Mechanic. The 3rd upgrade unlocks a tesla coil that slows all enemies in range, and the 4th upgrade gives the ability to alleviate all stuns with a cost.
    • Mechanic will be available after the update! This means that all of the ISC maps will stay in the game once the event ends!

  • Challenge Mode
    • Featuring an all-new mode that allows you to try out 2 different developer or community-made challenges every day. Each one earns you skin points; beat them in order to unlock skins!

    • Once called attributes, many changes have been added to the modifier system.
    • You are no longer limited to 3 modifiers. Go crazy with your choices!

    • Loot crates are pretty bad. Here’s a good alternative for them.
    • Two options; both skins are randomly chosen.

    • Although waves 41-44 had once existed in a previous build, the designs found within them mostly seemed lackluster (E.G. mostly recolored enemies.) The new waves for 41-50 have been reworked from the ground up and are much more original in design.
    • Four new bosses encompass these waves, 3 of them falling under your final challenge..

NEW TOWERS

  • Replaces the Conscript tower.
  • Path 1 focuses on boosting other nearby Slingers. If you’re a new player, this is excellent as this may be your only tower.
  • Path 2 focuses on explosive and high damage projectiles. A good choice if you’re not going for a ton of Slingers.
  • Many skins have been accommodated.
  • Focuses on back-line defense. Let it build a couple of traps, and it’s damage output will heavily increase.
  • Path 1 focuses on the trap length and how powerful it can get over time.
  • Path 2 focuses on damaging stronger units, whilst being weaker against weaker cannon fodder.
  • Focuses on shield-stripping capabilities. See that Avant Guard? You can kill it.
  • Path 1 focuses on DPS whilst still being inconsistent in damage. Useful in destroying Motherships and Carrier Tanks.
  • Path 2 focuses on its high-damage ability. It can be weak on its own, but the Immolation charge makes up for it.
  • A combination of gaining cash and dealing damage. Don’t want to use the Market but still want to get cash? This tower might be for you.
  • Path 1 focuses on its supportive abilities, and the final upgrade increases the damage considerably.
  • Path 2 focuses on incredible range and a sabotage ability. Use the ability before the enemies spawn!
  • The spawner equivalent for this game, but now you can micromanage what units to spawn in.
  • Path 1 focuses on your spawn choices, including a vehicle, a missile truck and a tank.
  • Path 2 focuses on a super-ability that will destroy EVERYTHING that it comes across. See it for yourself.
